About Us - JINGBAO™ Bilingual Children's Center

Our Story
Founded in 2007, we began in North York and have expanded to five locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

At JINGBAO™, we offer a unique blend of high-quality early childhood education and the opportunity to learn Mandarin Chinese at a young age. We take pride in being the early years learning division of Toronto Mandarin School, the top Mandarin Chinese language school in North America. JINGBAO™ serves as the first step on a child’s journey of learning Mandarin.

Our approach at JINGBAO™ integrates the Montessori curriculum with play-based learning and culturally enriched activities. This approach fosters holistic development in each child, encompassing their physical, language, cognitive, and social-emotion growth – a comprehensive approach to child development.

Our Philosophy
We see each child as a one-of-a-kind individual with natural curiosity and the ability to learn independently.
Our goal is to promote the overall development of each child in our care, including their social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical growth.
By using Mandarin Chinese as the primary language of instruction, we are dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment that:

Our Curriculum
Supported by the emergent curriculum, JINGBAO™ adheres to the Montessori philosophy, creating a bilingual environment in Mandarin Chinese and English.

We focus on fostering independent hands-on learning and child-directed activities. Our curriculum revolves around children’s interests, emphasizing sensory experiences. We provide uninterrupted work periods, incorporate purposeful play, offer practical workshops, and promote peer tutoring and group learning.
